INRI (2019)
INRI (Lesus Nazarenus Rex Ludaeorum) translates to from Latin “Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews”. This name was given to Jesus Christ as he was crucified on the cross. INRI is a series of 10 salt print images relating to the sufferings of Jesus Christ in the crucifixion and my own suffering in my life. Symbols of Christ’s suffering are intertwined with my own as he died for them.
