Ever since I was a little girl I was always attracted to the mosaics, stained-glass, arches, and fresco paintings occupying the Catholic churches I attended every Sunday. Growing up in southern California, I was surrounded by the California Missions along the west coast. The grand and intricate architecture of these churches deepened my love for paintings, design, sculpture, and ultimately my faith. Oremus is a collection of the nine churches and several faith symbols I call home. Each photo is a dedication to the houses of worship I partook in with my family and loved ones.
